We are Glanzer: Success for over 90 years
More than nine decades ago, we laid the foundations for our Sölden-based company, Glanzer – with ‘Glanzer bespoke footwear’ and the first leather ski boots for locals and visitors to the mountains. Today, we are the third generation to run this family business and, together with our staff, we are committed to providing the very best service, leading international brands and an alpine lifestyle all year round.
Our Manifesto
The Glanzer family were among the first to run a business in Sölden. Starting out as a small shoe shop, we grew steadily, and our activities expanded from sport and fashion to apartment blocks. As a family-run business, we remain committed to continuous growth and consistent development to this day.

When we talk about service, we mean delighting our customers through social interaction and a sense of community. As is customary in families, a handshake is our guarantee; service orientation also means constantly developing new offerings that delight our customers. Ideally, as Glanzer 1936, we can provide comprehensive support for the sports-loving visitors to our region, from accommodation and sports equipment right through to souvenirs for friends and family. The value of performance is important to us, as this is the only way we can truly embody our service-oriented approach. Performance means that we master our professional challenges and are fully committed to our work. We are meticulous, yet also motivated to constantly improve and prove ourselves. This applies to all our services, from our sports programmes to accommodation at Glanz & Glory.
The most important value that sets us apart is freedom. By freedom, we mean enjoying a sense of vastness and grandeur, and savouring the moment.

We focus on personalised service and use high-quality regional produce for the well-being of our customers, but also for you as an employee.
